What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can make us do about it. We have kept this short because we collect very little.
Who is responsible
Foxpers Group, trading as The Manuals, decides what happens to the personal data described here. For anything about your data, write to contact@themanuals.in.
What we collect, and why
Browsing: nothing. No sign-in, no account, no form to fill in. You can read every page on this site without telling us who you are.
If you write to us: your email address and whatever you put in the message, so that a person can answer it. It arrives in an ordinary mailbox and stays there.
If you agree to measurement: which pages were visited and in what order, so we can tell whether the site works. This is the only collection that asks first, and declining changes nothing else about the site.
If you buy on Amazon: your name and address go to Amazon, not to us. We are not told who bought a piece.
What stays on your own device
Two things, both in your browser's own storage and neither ever sent to us: your answer about measurement, and whether you turned the sound on. Clearing your browser data clears them.
We do not track you across other websites, we do not sell or share personal data with advertisers, and there are no advertising or social-media trackers on this site.
Paying
No payment is taken on this site. A piece links out to its listing on Amazon, and the basket, the card details and the delivery are all theirs — governed by Amazon's privacy policy, not this one. We never see a card number, because one is never entered here.
Who else sees your data
For browsing: nobody. There is no analytics provider connected, no advertising network, and no social-media tracker on any page.
If you write to us, the message passes through our email provider, as any email does.
We will disclose data if a law or a court requires it, and we will tell you when we are allowed to.
How long we keep it
Messages you send us: as long as the conversation is useful, then no longer. There are no order records here to keep — an order made on Amazon is held by Amazon, for as long as their policy and the tax law they answer to require.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it erased, and withdraw a consent you previously gave. Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, you also have the right to receive your data in a portable form and to object to processing.
To exercise any of them, write to and a person will answer. There is nothing to sign into here and no profile to delete: this site keeps no account for you.
If we get it wrong, tell us at , and you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies
No cookies at all. Two small things are kept in your own browser and never sent to us: your answer about measurement, and whether you turned the sound on. There are no advertising cookies and no measurement provider is connected. The cookie page lists every one of them by name.
Children
This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so on this page and, where the change is significant and you have an account, by email.
