Buying

Buying, delivery and returns

The pieces live on this site. The selling happens on Amazon — each piece links to its own listing, and that is where payment, delivery and returns are handled.

How buying works

Find a piece here, then open its listing with the Shop on Amazon button on its page. You buy from Amazon, pay Amazon, and are covered by the protections you already have as an Amazon customer.

We do this deliberately. Amazon is better at taking money safely and delivering across India than a shop our size could be, and we would rather spend the time on the work.

A piece with no button is not listed yet. Write to us about it and we will tell you when it goes up.

Delivery

Delivery is Amazon's. The listing shows where the piece can be sent, what it costs and when it should arrive, before you pay — and it is right, where anything we printed here could be months out of date.

Once it ships, tracking is in your Amazon orders, not here. We cannot see your order.

Returns

Returns go through Amazon, under the return policy shown on that listing. It is their process and their timescale, and it is the one you already know.

Start a damaged-in-transit return on Amazon first — that is what protects you, and it is faster than we are. Then send us a photograph as well. Transit damage to a piece that exists only once is something we want to see.

What is only ever ours

What the piece is, and whether it is honestly described. Every photograph on this site is of the actual piece you would receive, not a sample of the type.

Each one is made by hand and exists once. When it sells, the listing ends and there is not another like it.

If a piece is not what this site said it was, tell us. That is our mistake to fix regardless of who took the payment.
