Authenticity
“Handmade” is not a regulated word. Here is what it means when we use it, so you can hold us to it.
What is guaranteed
Every outline on a hand-painted piece is drawn freehand. Nothing is screen-printed or digitally reproduced and sold as hand-drawn.
Every carved piece is cut by hand from solid timber. No CNC routing, no cast resin, no veneer over composite board.
How to check
Look along a repeated border motif. If every instance is identical, it was printed. A hand drifts.
Look into the deepest undercut of a carving. A router leaves a uniform radius at the base of every cut; a chisel does not.
Variation
Two pieces of the same design will differ in colour depth, line weight and finish. We do not correct this and we do not photograph it out.
