Our Approach to Returns
Because many of the works we feature are handcrafted, made in limited quantities, or produced exclusively for theManuals, we are unable to accept returns based on a change of mind. Each piece is unique in nature, and we encourage you to review all product details carefully before completing your purchase.
Please note that as all our pieces are handcrafted, minor variations in colour, texture, finish, or form are a natural part of the work and are not considered defects. These subtle differences are what make each piece one of a kind.
However, we are fully committed to resolving any issues that arise from damaged, defective, or incorrectly dispatched orders.
Eligible Returns
We accept returns only in the following situations:
The product received is defective or not as described
An incorrect item was delivered
The product was physically damaged during shipping — this includes broken parts, cracks, deep scratches, crushed or shattered surfaces, or any structural damage caused by mishandling or impact during transit. Damage of this nature will be clearly distinguishable from the natural characteristics of handmade work
If any of the above applies to your order, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the product at contact@themanuals.in with your order details and clear photographs of the issue. We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
Refunds
Once your return request has been reviewed and approved, you will be asked to ship the product back to us. After we receive the item at our warehouse and verify its condition, we will process your refund within 7 to 10 business days. The refund will be credited to your original payment method.
Replacements
Where possible, we will offer a replacement before processing a refund. However, given the limited and handcrafted nature of many of our pieces, a direct replacement may not always be available. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
Return Shipping
If a return is approved, we will guide you through the return process. For orders within India, we will arrange for a pickup wherever possible.
International Orders
For international orders, we accept return requests only in cases of damaged, defective, or incorrectly dispatched items. In such cases, we do not require the item to be shipped back. Simply contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@themanuals.in with your order details and clear photographs of the issue. Once we have reviewed and verified your claim, we will process a full refund to your original payment method within 7 to 10 business days.
Please note that change of mind returns are not accepted for international orders. Shipping charges and any customs duties paid at the time of delivery are non-refundable.
